Sales Representative

Rudy Agritactic Machines cc, a Namibian-owned manufacturer of agricultural machinery, invites suitably qualified, motivated, and results-driven candidates to apply for the position of Sales Representative. We are seeking an individual with strong sales and customer relationship skills, combined with practical knowledge of livestock farming, animal nutrition, and feed formulation. The ideal candidate should understand farmers' needs and be able to recommend suitable agricultural machinery and feed-processing solutions.

• Promote and sell agricultural machinery, animal feed-processing equipment, and related products.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities among livestock farmers, farming cooperatives, agricultural businesses, and other potential clients.
• Provide customers with basic guidance on animal feed formulation, livestock nutrition, and feed preparation.
• Understand the nutritional requirements of different livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry.
• Advise customers on suitable feed-processing equipment based on their farming and production needs.
• Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and follow-ups to generate sales.
• Prepare quotations, sales reports, and customer proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Meet sales targets and identify opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
• Provide customer feedback to management to support product development and business growth.

• A qualification, certificate, or practical training in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Production, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of livestock farming, animal nutrition, and feed formulation.
• Training in livestock production, animal feeding, or feed formulation from institutions such as Agra or other recognised agricultural training providers will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in agricultural machinery, animal feed, livestock products, or the agricultural sector.
• Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans.
