Network Engineer – NeoCloud / AI Data Center

Job Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain network architecture diagrams and topology drawings for NeoCloud and AI Data Center (AIDC) projects, including network connectivity, rack layouts, and cabling plans.
2. Plan, implement, and manage intra-rack and inter-rack network cabling, including fiber optic cables, copper cables, and associated connectivity components.
3. Support network connectivity planning, port allocation, and cabling design based on project requirements and technical specifications.
4. Assist with on-site network equipment installation, connectivity testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure reliable network performance.
5. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network topology diagrams, cabling layouts, port mapping tables, and connectivity records.
6. Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and customers to coordinate on-site activities and ensure timely project delivery.
7. Provide on-site technical support at data center facilities across Southeast Asia, including occasional business travel as required.
Job Requirements
1. Educational background in Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, switches, routers, VLANs, and network topology.
3. Ability to create and interpret network topology diagrams and cabling layouts using tools such as Visio, AutoCAD, or draw.io.
4. Basic knowledge of data center network cabling, including fiber optics, copper cabling, patch panels, and rack-level connectivity. Hands-on cabling experience is preferred.
5. Familiarity with data center network architecture. Exposure to GPU clusters, AI infrastructure, InfiniBand, or high-speed Ethernet is an advantage.
6. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a data center environment, with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to take on practical tasks.
7. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English for day-to-day communication, technical discussions, and documentation.
9. Based in or willing to be based in Singapore, Indonesia, or Malaysia, with flexibility to travel within Southeast Asia as required.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in data center construction, network deployment, or system integration projects.
2. Familiarity with Spine-Leaf network architecture and AI cluster networking.
3. Knowledge of fiber optic testing, cable labeling, and structured cabling standards.
4. CCNA, CCNP, RCDD or other relevant networking certifications.
