Software Developer 2 - Golang

We are looking for a talented Golang Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Golang and database management, ideally within Fintech, along with a genuine passion for technology, cloud infrastructure, and building in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architectural design, performance tuning, and technical evolution of scalable distributed backend systems.
• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput RESTful APIs and gRPC microservices using frameworks like Go-Gin.
• Write performant SQL queries, model efficient data structures, and manage databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Collaborate on cloud-native deployments using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes within automated CI/CD pipelines and implement centralised logging, metrics collection, and operational dashboards using tools like Grafana.
• Champion software development best practices, perform thorough code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on, professional software development experience primarily in Golang.
• Deep understanding and practical implementation of Golang concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels, sync primitives, context handling).
• Strong experience building backend services with REST APIs, gRPC, and frameworks like Go-Gin.
• Solid proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
