About the Job:
Type: Full time/Permanent
Wage: $27.00 per hour + $0.50 shift differential
Shifts: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7am - 7pm, Wednesday 7am - 1pm

Summary
The Warehouse Maintenance Technician I maintains day to day operations and assumes the responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager.
Essential Functions
Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
Support and participate in lean initiative activities within the warehouse
Additional Responsibilities
Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
H.S. diploma/GED preferred General H.S. subjects
Two (2) years or more strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs required
Other May be required to be equipment certified

Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified. Must pass a Ryder Background check.
