Our financial services client is seeking a Intermediate Azure Cloud Platform Engineer (5+ years) to design, deploy, and support Azure data and analytics platforms using Azure Data Factory, Terraform, and Power BI- 17346

 

Join a data analytics team delivering enterprise-grade Azure cloud and analytics platforms within the insurance sector. This role focuses on Azure infrastructure, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and Power BI platform support across scalable data environments. The position offers hands-on involvement with Azure data services, networking, and platform optimization initiatives.

 

Location: Toronto/Hybrid- 3 days a week on site

Duration: 6 Months (Chance of Extension)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week


Must Haves

  • 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering supporting enterprise platforms
  • Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, and API Management
  • Hands-on Terraform development for infrastructure as code
  • Administration and deployment of Power BI platform environments
  • Data engineering fundamentals including data pipelines, data lakes, and ingestion patterns

 

Nice to Have

  • Azure certifications including AZ-104, AZ-305, or DP-203
  • Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost governance exposure
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps

 

Responsibilities

  • Design Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services
  • Deploy Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services
  • Maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Support and optimize Power BI platform environments
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and provide operational support
