Saalex is an American defence services company founded in 1999 that provides engineering, test range operations and information technology support to United States Navy and other government customers. Its work covers test and evaluation at naval ranges, systems engineering, logistics, cybersecurity and managed technology services, delivered largely by cleared staff embedded with government programme offices. Headquartered in Camarillo, California near the Point Mugu naval range it has long supported, it is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, a designation that gives it access to set-aside federal contracts.

Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company is seeking Navigation Engineer in Lexington Park, MD to support the Mission Systems Group and related military avionics programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with avionics navigation and communication systems, a strong background in global positioning systems, inertial navigation and flight planning. This position is a key contributor to mission effectiveness and safety of flight across the Naval Aviation enterprise. The role directly supports the successful fielding of robust, reliable, and precise navigation capabilities by providing the hands-on engineering analysis and technical support necessary for the development, integration, testing, and fielding of advanced navigation.

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $150k-$175k annually (depending on experience)
