Position Summary

The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for the support, administration, monitoring, enhancement, and Replatform of Safelite's enterprise integration platforms. This role supports critical business data exchanges across legacy and cloud-based systems, including IBM MQ, Globalcape MFT, APIs, and AWS-native integration services. The engineer will ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data movement while helping drive Safelite's integration Replatform roadmap.

What You Will Do

• Integration Platform Support
  • Provide L3 support for enterprise integration platform.
  • Monitor platform health and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Resolve integration failures, message backlogs, file transfer issues, and connectivity problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Cloud Integration Engineering
  • Design, develop, and support AWS-based integration solutions.
  • Support event-driven and serverless integration architectures.
• Decom & Replatform
  • Partner with architecture and application teams to modernize legacy integrations.
  • Support migration of ARCUS, MQ, and on-prem file transfer workloads to AWS-native solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and rationalize the integration landscape.
  • Participate in mainframe decommissioning and cloud transformation initiatives.

What You Will Need

• 7+ years of integration platform support experience.

• 4+ years developing or supporting AWS-based solutions.

• Experience supporting mission critical production environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• EFT/MFT platform support

• FTP/SFTP protocols

• Linux and Windows administration

• Python scripting and automation

• AWS Lambda

• Amazon S3

• Amazon SNS/SQS

• Amazon EventBridge

• REST APIs and web services

• SSL/TLS and certificate management
• IBM MQ administration and troubleshooting

• AWS Transfer Family

• Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Oracle Fusion integrations

• CI/CD and GitHub based development practices

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235).
