Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field or equivalent experience in industrial safety or environmental management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial risk management, industrial chemical experience preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial risk assessment and management.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Experience implementing industrial safety programs and training employees in industrial safety.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with risk assessment tools and software.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for industrial processes and operations.
- Develop and implement risk management plans and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, safety, and operations teams to identify potential hazards.
- Review and analyze incident reports to recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate risk awareness training sessions and workshops for staff.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and trends to senior management.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
