Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team! This position is located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supports and oversees all infrastructure team operations and maintenance tasks for deployed operational solutions (Citrix, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware).
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues, including root cause analysis.
- Maintains documentation for infrastructure, systems, subsystems, and components.
- Works with the IT Architecture and Engineering team to research, analyze, and assess new technologies for infrastructure modernization.
- Proposes new solutions to the government with proof of concept for consideration by the Configuration Control Board.
- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
- Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
