  • Evaluate customer requirements and recommend technically sound, cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop technical concepts, implementation plans, test approaches, and solutions to engineering problems.
  • Design or support test and evaluation activities; assess performance data; and apply probability, reliability, statistical analysis, sampling, and data-collection methods as appropriate.
  • Conduct or support systems safety studies and ensure technical work conforms to applicable standards, regulations, and established work requirements.
  • Evaluate logistics considerations in submitted proposals, including transportation, packaging, and associated costs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, identify required resources, track technical progress, and help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Prepare programmatic updates, technical assessments, briefings, test plans, project concepts, technical reports, and other technical products.
  • Participate in weekly meetings, program reviews, technical discussions, and meetings at Government, contractor, and subcontractor facilities.
  • Interface professionally with Government personnel, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Required Education:

Qualifications:

  • Canidate must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience applying engineering and scientific principles to resolve technical requirements and project challenges.
  • Experience developing technical concepts, implementation plans, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation and assessing technical performance data.
  • Working knowledge of probability, reliability, statistical analysis methods, sampling techniques, data collection, and test and evaluation practices.
  • Experience developing project plans, managing technical progress, and tracking cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Ability to lead or contribute effectively to cross-functional teams and Integrated Product Teams.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly through written reports, briefings, and discussions with Government and industry stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including OCONUS locations, approximately 25% of the time.
