Role Overview
Join the Product Security & Compliance team at Informatica by Salesforce as a Compliance Engineer. In this role, you will lead global compliance initiatives across cloud products serving Fortune 100 enterprise customers. You will embed compliance directly into engineering workflows early in the development lifecycle ("shift-left") to establish continuous security and prevent audit surprises.
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Working across multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), you will collaborate with global engineering, product, and security teams to build a "test-once, comply-everywhere" architecture backed by automated validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Framework Leadership: Lead global compliance certifications and audits across key frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, ACN, etc.
- Engineering Integration: Shift compliance left by embedding controls, policy validation, and security requirements into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows from day one.
- Regulatory Translation: Translate complex regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, STIGs) into clear, actionable engineering roadmaps and security controls.
- Automation & Architecture: Work alongside security and development teams to implement GRC automation, AI-powered validation, and zero-trust principles across multi-cloud environments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global cross-functional teams & Informatica Engineering team to streamline audit readiness, and maintain continuous compliance across Informatica cloud products.
