Position Summary
In your role as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of a facility’s electrical systems.You'll perform preventive and predictive maintenance , troubleshooting, corrective actions, commissioning support, documentation, and inventory management, all carried out in full compliance with safety procedures.
Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/TBM) on all electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and restore electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
Own reliability for assigned systems/areas and drive corrective actions.
Support commissioning, energization, and system validation activities.
Maintain accurate work orders, asset data, and documentation in iEMS.
Perform all work in compliance with safety procedures (LOTO / EEW).
Support critical spare parts identification and inventory readiness.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Relevant experience: 3+ years working on industrial electrical systems (LV/MV power distribution, controls, or facilities maintenance).
Electrical knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.
Hands-on troubleshooting ability: Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical equipment (switchgear, VFDs, UPS, motors, relays).
Safety competency: Demonstrated experience with LOTO and safe electrical work practices (NFPA 70E or equivalent).
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree, apprenticeship, or electrical license preferred.
The current base salary range for this role is between $26.00- $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
