Head of Aircon - Singapore

Position Summary

The successful candidate will serve as the single point of accountability for driving profitable revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand positioning in the Singapore market, while building and leading a high-performing local team. This position requires a strategic operator who can balance short-term commercial execution with long-term business planning, working cross-functionally with regional (SEAO) and headquarters stakeholders to align local strategy with broader business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Development of vision and strategies towards the achievement of the department’s sales & profit target.
• Developing a sustainable business model with innovative ideas and solutions.
• Working closely with cross function teams and departments to develop and execute best-in-class product, marketing and retail strategies with the objective of building and strengthening the company’s brand positioning in the Air-conditioning market
• Together with the product marketing manager, manage the product portfolio’s roadmap and lifecycle
• Leading a team of key account managers in developing and growing distribution channels (B2C / B2B) and establishing a strong long-term relationship with our business partners and key decision makers
• Supported by Pre-sales Engineer, provide technical designs and consultations to meet project requirements
• Working closely with service team to create a top-notch after sales service
• Leading, coaching and mentoring to ensure team members’ personal growth and job satisfaction. Managing team’s day to day operations which includes but not limited to:
  • Product Management
  • Market Analysis
  • Key Account Management
  • P&L Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Pre-sales / After sales
  • Management reporting

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in B2B/B2C sales, project sales, business development, or key account management, preferably within the System Air Conditioning (VRF / light commercial) or related HVAC and Building Solutions industry.
• Skilled in P&L and people management
• Experience in both Sales and Marketing
• Successful sales track record in both B2B and B2C
• Excellent in cognitive thought and problem solving
• Creative and innovative
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and possess good project management and presentation skills

Preferred (Advantageous)

• Experience in technical proposal / tender preparation and spec-in activities with M&E consultants and EPC contractors, including regional or multi-country coverage.
