Manager, Product Management (Ultrasound)

Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Strategic Clinical Marketing & Positioning:

• Develop and execute product go-to-market (GTM) strategies for Samsung ultrasound portfolios in Thailand, with primary emphasis on the Women's Health (HERA Z20 series) and premium radiology segments.
• Formulate clinical value propositions and marketing collateral targeting specialized physicians (MFM specialists, Radiologists, OB/GYN department heads).
• Lead strategic academic symposiums, hands-on workshops, and wet-labs in partnership with key medical societies (RTCOG, MUST) and leading university hospitals.

High-Level Clinical Demonstrations & Pre-Sales Support:

• Conduct peer-level clinical demonstrations, advanced imaging evaluations, and trial evaluations for high-value hospital tenders and strategic private healthcare networks.
• Deliver high-end clinical expertise in complex imaging workflows (3D/4D fetal heart evaluation, elastography, AI-assisted detection) to overcome competitor benchmarks.

Channel Partner Clinical Enablement:

• Design and deliver regular training programs for distributor sales representatives and application specialists (clinical knowledge, competitive positioning, objection handling).
• Supervise distributor demo unit allocations, field trial performance, and customer evaluation protocols to improve win rates.

HQ Collaboration & Voice of Customer (VoC) Channeling :

• Serve as the strategic feedback channel between the Thai clinical community and HQ/RHQ R&D and Product Planning teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor intelligence (GE Healthcare, Philips, Mindray), and regulatory/tender requirements to influence future product roadmaps.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Sonography, Biomedical Engineering, Radiotechnology, Nursing, or related Allied Health / Life Sciences field. (Business/Marketing minor or MBA is an asset).
• Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in ultrasound clinical application, product management, or specialized medical device commercial marketing.
• Proven track record in Women’s Health (OB/GYN, MFM) or High-End Ultrasound segment within multinational medtech vendors or Tier-1 distributors.
• In-depth clinical knowledge of ultrasound physics, system transducers, diagnostic protocols, and advanced imaging modalities (Fetal Echo, 3D/4D, Doppler).
• Strong commercial orientation with demonstrated ability to influence hospital decision-makers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and clinical department chairs.
• Outstanding presentation, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills for conducting physician masterclasses and distributor training.
• Fluent in Thai (Native) and excellent business-level proficiency in English (both written and verbal) for corporate reporting and HQ collaboration.
