HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary: The housekeeping supervisor is responsible for managing the performance of the room attendants and housemen, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe, comfortable and well supplied.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting rooms, occupied and vacant, to ensure that they meet the standards set by Sandals/Beaches Resorts

  • Maintaining confidentiality

  • Handling all guest concerns efficiently, tactfully and courteously

  • Monitoring linen to ensure that highest quality standards are maintained

  • Assisting Executive Housekeeper in inventory and management reports

  • Analysing and resolving problems, exercising good judgment

Qualifications:

  • College or University Degree from a recognised tertiary institution

  • Minimum of three (3) years' management and/or supervisory experience in a first-class resort

  • Excellent organisational and team management skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
