Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Underground Project Manager Load & Haul based in the Freeport - Indonesia located in the Papua Province, Indonesia.

The role is to provide a high level of Service support to maintain the Customer fleet of Underground Mining equipment (LH410, LH307, TH663) in a fit for purpose state. Ensuring optimum use of available resources to execute safe and efficient maintenance activities whilst ensuring contract KPI’s are achieved by guiding technical staff through both preventative maintenance tasks and breakdown repairs. Managing people and processes to achieve a harmonious workplace with profitable outcomes for both Sandvik and the Customer in accordance with Sandvik Mining Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and Regulations, Indonesian Standards and Regulations, and Site-specific rules and regulations.

  • Coaching, motivating, training, evaluating and managing the Asset Agreement to accomplish the goals and objectives of the business.

  • Managing the daily functions of the Asset Agreement

  • Developing direct customer relationships with clients

  • Managing all resources to ensure an optimum balance between a high level of customer service satisfaction and attainment of financial objectives.

  • Financial Analysis and controlling expenses within budget.

  • Work on minimizing risk and maintaining profitable Asset Agreement Sites

  • Foster a Lean thinking mindset by guiding employees’ actions and behaviours to provide value to the customer

  • Continuously improve and update personal knowledge with respect to product development and technical innovation

Your profile

  • Ability to lead and work as part of an integrated, broad team to achieve results

  • Must be flexible, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative with an in-depth understanding of customer business processes

  • Superior customer relations and active listening skills

  • Highly developed time management and organizational skills

  • High level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve customer goals and targets

  • Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships

  • Experience with the development and implementation of operational continuous improvement strategies

  • An understanding of the underground mining industry
