About the role

• SANY Nigeria is recruiting Crane Operators and Excavator Operators to drive and operate equipment safely and support site activities. Applicants should clearly identify whether they are applying as a Crane Operator or an Excavator Operator.

Key responsibilities

• Crane Operator: Drive and operate a mobile crane and use it to offload containers safely, following approved lifting procedures and coordinating with the site team.
• Excavator Operator: Drive and operate an excavator to carry out excavation and material movement safely.
• Carry out pre-use checks and report defects, faults and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Follow HSE requirements, maintain safe working areas and complete relevant operating records.
• Coordinate clearly with site teams and follow approved operating instructions.

What you’ll bring

• For Crane Operators, the ability to drive a mobile crane and use it to offload containers is essential.
• For Excavator Operators, the ability to drive and operate an excavator is essential.
• Relevant practical operating experience in the discipline applied for.
• Ability to conduct pre-use checks, identify equipment faults and follow safe operating procedures.
• Ability to coordinate clearly with site teams and follow safety instructions.
