What you build

As a Software Engineering Internin SAP CX Commerce, you will work on projects that are critical to the success of SAP Commerce's next-generation SaaS solutions. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, quality engineers, and product teams to ensure product quality, scalability, and reliability.

We are looking for enthusiastic and curious individuals who have a strong quality mindset, enjoy solving problems, and are eager to learn new technologies, including AI-assisted development and test automation.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Understand product requirements and existing features, and participate in functional and regression testing activities.

• Support quality assurance and software engineering teams in requirement validation, test design, and test script development.

• Contribute to feature development, unit testing, integration testing, and automated test frameworks.

• Participate in defect analysis, root cause investigation, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Support Agile development processes by tracking quality metrics and generating project reports and dashboards.

• Explore how AI can improve software quality, developer productivity, and testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Expected graduation date in 2027 or later.

• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, software testing principles, and quality assurance methodologies.

• Good programming skills in Java.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Available to work at least 4 days per weekfor a minimum of 6 months.
