Cheese ACM Operator 2nd Shift

This position is responsible for all assigned tasks related to monitoring the ACM and CM make for both phase cookers including but not limited to; vat pasteurizers, analyzing equipment.

• Ensure the correct addition & documentation of ingredients including but not limited to: Salt, NFDM, cream, UF, vinegar, rennet, starter buffer, cultures.
• Record & interpret data to make informed decisions and / or recommendations for optimum cheese making conditions.
• Clean all related equipment as needed to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Perform assigned Master Sanitation duties.

• Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keeps Food Safety as a top priority all times.
• Promptly reports any unsafe working conditions.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal communication skills.
• Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Demonstrates integrity in all business activities with employees, visitors and vendors.
• Comply with all quality & food safety systems and regulatory requirements.
• Reliable and available to work overtime or holidays as required.
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Cheese making experience preferred
• Must possess a valid California State Pasteurizer License or have the ability to pass the exam within six months of starting in the position

Pay Range: $31.60 - $37.23
