About the Role
As a Structural Engineer at Rite, you’ll be the structural engineering domain expert within our AlgOps team, working at the intersection of structural engineering, algorithms, and product. You’ll bring real-world structural engineering knowledge into the algorithm, ensuring accurate and reliable output for our customers.
You’ll work hands-on with customers’ construction projects, preparing and reviewing plans, identifying algorithmic gaps and edge cases, and working with the research team to improve the system. You’ll also serve as the go-to source of structural engineering knowledge within Rite, helping translate domain expertise into better products and processes.
This is an opportunity to bring your structural engineering expertise into a technology environment, work closely with a highly technical team, and have a direct impact on a product from an early stage.
Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Prepare and review customer construction plans, reviewing and validating the final output.
- Act as the structural engineer subject matter expert within Rite, guiding internal teams with your field experience.
- Identify algorithmic edge cases, and gaps, and iterate with the algorithm team to refine the system.
- Provide structural engineering data and domain expertise for developing and testing new algorithmic capabilities.
- Contribute insights, lessons learned, and best practices to continuously improve Rite’s structural engineering methodology.
- Help build scalable processes for the AlgOps operation.
Requirements
Requirements:
- BSc. in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
- At least 1 year of professional experience working as a structural engineer.
- Strong understanding of structural plans and construction drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit- must
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to take ownership of projects.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work from Rite’s Tel Aviv office 5 days per week.
