The impact you will create:

• End-to-End Ownership: You will take responsibility for the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis, design, and architecture to implementation, deployment, testing, and operations.
• Business-Critical Systems: You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications that drive core automation, forecasting, replenishment, and seamless logistics across one of Europe’s largest supply chains.
• Modern Architecture: You will develop scalable backend microservices using Kotlin and/or Go, build seamless APIs (RESTful, gRPC), and apply „12-Factor App“ principles to our complex distributed system landscape.
• User-Centric Interfaces: You will build and maintain modern, highly responsive frontends using VueJS.
• Community & Mentorship: You will contribute to our developer community, actively sharing your expertise, challenging the status quo, and driving technical excellence across the platform teams.

Experience & skills you will need:

• Backend Expertise: You have strong experience developing backend services. You are either already proficient in Kotlin, or you have deep experience in Java/PHP/similar ecosystems and possess a strong, proactive willingness to transition fully into Kotlin (Ktor) and Go.
• Frontend Agility: You have hands-on experience building web applications with modern frameworks (Vue, React, or Angular) and are excited to work primarily with VueJS.
• Cloud-Native & DevOps: You are comfortable operating in modern cloud environments and have practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed architectures.
• Data & Communication: You are familiar with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and deeply understand HTTP and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Engineering Excellence: You are dedicated to high software quality. Clean Code, modular design, design patterns (e.g., Strategy Pattern), and automated testing (TDD) are part of your daily routine. You prioritize security best practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Education & Mindset: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent IT apprenticeship. You are a true team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Languages: You are highly proficient in English. Confident communication in German is a plus.
