Software Engineer - Fullstack

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in web development, server-side scripting, data integration, and database management. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and web applications, ensuring the optimal performance of database systems.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in Javascript/Python for server-side logic.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources.
• Build and manage automated data pipelines to streamline data flow.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
• Design, develop, and optimise SQL queries and database schemas.
• Perform database administration tasks, including backups, restores, and performance tuning.
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web applications.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Document technical specifications, system designs, and code as needed.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in web development and database management.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4-8 years of experience in web development using JavaScript and Python.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e. g., React, Angular, Vue.js ).
• Strong knowledge of Python and related frameworks (e. g., Django, Flask).
• Expertise in writing and optimising SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e. g., Git).
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
