As Facility Officer, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of our facilities. You ensure that our buildings, technical installations and facility services are properly maintained and functioning efficiently. Combining technical knowledge with a hands-on approach, you play a key role in supporting a safe and well-organized working environment.
Your responsibilities
Manage and follow up on the daily facility operations across our sites.
Follow up on the maintenance and operation of building installations such as HVAC, electricity, access control systems and other technical infrastructure.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out correctly and on time.
Act as the point of contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Coordinate and follow up on facility services including building maintenance, cleaning and green area maintenance.
Support operational tasks and technical interventions when needed.
Keep facility-related administration and documentation up to date.
Work closely with the Facility Manager and Facility Technician to ensure all facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.
Requirements
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or facility-related role.
Good technical knowledge of building installations such as HVAC, electrical systems and related infrastructure.
Hands-on mentality and willing to actively support operational activities when necessary.
Able to combine technical fieldwork with administrative follow-up and documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and able to set the right priorities in a dynamic environment.
Capable of making decisions independently when required and able to remain calm under pressure.
Flexible attitude and willing to handle occasional interventions outside normal working hours.
Team player with good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Good knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
Experience with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
