Principal Game Designer (Feature + Systems)

We are seeking a Principal Game Designer (Feature + Systems) to join our Bingo Bash team in Bangalore!

Bingo Bash is a highly international team working on the biggest video game from India to date (measured by revenue). Here you will work on a top-grossing F2P game with significant and growing daily revenues, and help create fresh content for our players. 

What You’ll Do

As the Principal Game Designer for Bingo Bash, you will lead a small team while taking on hands-on design responsibilities. This role involves developing and refining game features, meta systems, and progression mechanics, while collaborating closely with production, product, and engineering teams to deliver engaging player experiences. You will have the chance to craft the future of a beloved title enjoyed by millions, collaborating with a dedicated team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vision Setting and Feature Design: Set the creative vision for core game systems, including progression, economy, and meta features like challenges and season-pass systems
• Prototyping: Introduce and integrate prototyping into the design pipeline alongside traditional GDDs to test and validate concepts before full development
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, analytics, and engineering to implement designs, balance workloads, and meet production goals
• Iterative Design: Use player data and insights from the analytics team to iterate on game features, making data-driven improvements to increase engagement and retention
• Stakeholder Communication: Present and defend design decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor games to inform and enhance design strategies

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience in mobile free-to-play (F2P) game design, with expertise in system design, feature design, and economy balancing
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience, with the ability to manage and grow a design team.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) to enhance communication and validate design concepts
• A strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze player behavior and adapt designs based on insights
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for game design and a deep understanding of player motivations

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in the social casino genre or a similar F2P game environment
• Familiarity with LiveOps strategies and how they integrate with game design
