Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects from initiation through completion.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project objectives, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.

The role requires strong project management, team leadership, stakeholder management, and risk management capabilities.

The candidate will work closely with development teams, QA professionals, clients, and vendors to ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements, quality standards, and agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

- Define project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.

- Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and delivery schedules.

- Monitor project progress and ensure activities remain aligned with the approved scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

- Track project deliverables, identify potential delays, and take corrective actions to maintain delivery commitments.

- Coordinate project execution from initiation and planning through implementation, closure, and handover.

- Facilitate smooth project handover to operations and support teams after successful completion.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and other technical professionals.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct regular project meetings, progress reviews, and status updates to ensure effective communication.

- Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and resolve conflicts or delivery-related challenges.

- Ensure clear communication of project objectives, responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines across teams.

- Collaborate with technical teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical deliverables.

Risk and Quality Management

- Identify project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and potential delivery challenges.

- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure smooth execution.

- Establish and monitor project KPIs to measure delivery performance, quality, and overall project progress.

- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet defined standards and customer expectations.

- Coordinate with QA teams to track testing activities, defects, and resolution timelines.

- Obtain formal approvals and sign-offs from relevant stakeholders at appropriate project milestones.

- Maintain project documentation, reports, risk registers, and delivery records.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Strong experience in technical project management and end-to-end project delivery.

- Good understanding of software development and project implementation lifecycles.

- Experience managing cross-functional teams, including development and QA professionals.

- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

- Experience in client communication, vendor coordination, and stakeholder management.

- Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement effective mitigation plans.

- Understanding of quality assurance processes, project KPIs, and delivery management practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
