The Role
SCYTALYS is looking for a skilled and motivated Bid Manager to support the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals for opportunities across the defense, security, and ICT sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess business opportunities, evaluating their alignment with company objectives and capabilities
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Program Management teams to understand customer requirements and develop winning proposals
- Prepare proposal content, technical documentation, presentations, and responses for customers, authorities, and international organizations
- Conduct market and technology assessments to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and areas for strategic growth
- Support the development of partnerships and collaborations with industry, academia, and research organizations
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical and commercial documentation before and after contract award
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid management processes, tools, and methodologies
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- More than 5 years of professional experience
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: ICT, Security, Defense, Technical Consulting, or Technical Presales
- Experience preparing and coordinating proposals, tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Excellent technical writing skills in both English and Greek
- Fluency in English, including technical terminology
- Good understanding of domestic and international defense, security, and technology markets
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, R&D programs, and industry trends
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business tools
