Flexibility Dispatcher (Part-Time)

Second Foundation is an international energy trading and asset management firm headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, with offices in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the US. Our team of 500 plus professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modelling. 

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our Prague Dispatching Team who would be able to work part-time. 

What you would work on?  

• Oversee the daily operations of the Second Foundation energy asset portfolio, including cogeneration units, battery systems, biogas plants, and large-scale consumption facilities. 
• Maintain regular communication with customers and partners to provide updates and address inquiries regarding their equipment's performance. 
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to enhance tools, applications and systems that support data-driven decisions. 
• Assist in planning and optimizing energy flexibility capacities in response to current market conditions.

• Strong analytical thinking skills and an ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. 
• A proactive, responsible approach with the capability to work independently and handle tasks autonomously. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Fluency in Czech language, at least B2 in English. 
• Solid experience with spreadsheets and report creation using MS Excel. 
• Electrotechnical education and prior dispatcher experience are a plus. 
• Readiness to work part-time on 8h or 12h shifts.
