Billing Team LeadPRIMARY PURPOSE: To supervise billing clerks; to supervise billing functions ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing; and to ensure proper revenue allocations to company departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises billing clerks providing leadership and guidance.
- Ensures accurate and timely client invoicing; ensures proper revenue allocations to company departments.
- Assists with monthly revenue variance reporting.
- Resolves client billing issues.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
- Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
- Four (4) years experience in the accounting field or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include one (1) year supervisory experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of billing principles and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills

Compensation Information:
Salary Range: 67,847.00 - 85,000.00 CAD Annualannually
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Sedgwick is committed to transparent and equitable pay practices.
