As a Project Engineer - Proposals Managera typical day might include the following:

• Conduct business development meetings with sales representatives and customers

• Estimate Engineering Servicesand subcontractorlabor, equipment, and expenses

• Orchestrateproposaldevelopment, internal review, and submission to customer

• Evaluate and quantify project risks in accordance withproposed scope of work
• Constructfront-end milestone and construction schedules

• Ensure status forproposalsubmission, due dates, and estimated project execution dates areaccurate

Required Qualifications:

One of the following:

• • Bachelorsdegree in Engineeringor related technical field

  • Associates Degreewith minimum of 4 yearsrelevant experience

  • PMP Certification or similar with 6 years relevant experience

• Basic knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration and/or automation and communications applications

• Working knowledge of electric power system design, studies, information and communication technology and protective relay applications

• Willing to travel 25% based on focus area

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

• Negative drug test result(s)

Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position between $100,000 - $140,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibilities. We base our starting pay offer on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
