Purpose-built from day one. The AI platform utilities trust to run engineering, regulatory, and customer service at scale.
Backed by Hyperplane

Senpilot builds AI agents that help utilities operate smarter, faster, and more reliably, automating everything from engineering workflows to regulatory filings and compliance. Our mission is to create the intelligence layer for the modern grid: AI systems that understand utility data, reason across it, and act autonomously to improve safety, resilience, and efficiency.

We are building production-grade intelligence that sits at the heart of how critical infrastructure is planned, monitored, and regulated, helping utilities unlock the next generation of reliability.

Joining Senpilot means joining a small, high-performance team that combines deep expertise in AI systems, data engineering, and energy infrastructure. We focus on generating value and we run toward the hard problems because that's where the value is. If you want to join a fast-growing team and help build the future of intelligent infrastructure, this is the place to do it.

The Role

Agent deployment is how Senpilot gets a customer from a pilot or signed contract to regular, measurable use of our AI agents. As an AI Deployment Manager for the regulatory agent, you’ll own the team’s hardest problems: getting users to useful results, turning enterprise pilots into paying customers, and building the playbooks that let this function scale. This includes owning the relationship for a portfolio of utility, consulting, and regulator accounts, guiding them from first login through renewal.

You’ll operate as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on resource. You’ll be as comfortable reviewing usage data, building training, helping users with prompts and setup, and running recurring check-ins as leading a business review with executives. For key moments, such as a major filing, a team-wide rollout, or a renewal conversation, you’ll be on the ground with the client. This is a rare opportunity to define how utilities and their advisors use AI in rate cases, regulatory filings, and research.

What you’ll do

  • Own the relationship and outcomes for a portfolio of regulatory accounts, guiding them from onboarding through conversion, renewal, and long-term adoption of Senpilot’s regulatory agent.
  • Lead activation: agree on use cases and success criteria with each customer at the start of a pilot, set up their users, and make sure each user gets a good first result.
  • Embed on-site during high-stakes windows, such as a rate case filing or a team-wide rollout, working hands-on with the client’s team to resolve blockers, accelerate adoption, and strengthen the relationship in person.
  • Train and enable end users across regulatory, engineering, finance, and customer service teams, from analysts to leadership, teaching them to write effective prompts and use the agent in their day-to-day work.
  • Build and scale the playbooks, prompt libraries, documentation, and self-serve resources that let every account in your portfolio keep getting value between your direct touchpoints.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, value, and account health through data and direct client feedback, and work with the commercial team to decide which pilots to convert, extend with a defined plan, or end.
  • Serve as the link between clients and Senpilot’s product team, surfacing quality issues and feedback that shape the roadmap, and telling customers when the product changes in ways that matter to them.
  • Get to know each customer’s organization beyond the regulatory team, and identify where a regulatory deployment can lead to deploying Senpilot’s other modules, such as engineering and customer service.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in hands-on account management, technical customer success, or implementation roles, ideally at a high-growth, tech-forward organization; management consulting or generalist experience is also relevant.
  • Strong communication and strategic planning, including the ability to manage pilots and rollouts, build trust quickly, and rally a room of executives or users around a vision.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site client engagements.
  • Familiarity with utility regulation, such as rate cases, regulatory filings, or consulting to utilities or regulators, or genuine excitement to learn it fast.
  • Strong customer instinct and empathy, including the ability to talk to users, uncover their pain points, and help solve them.
  • Track record of moving from problem to shipped implementation in ambiguous environments, with comfort ramping up on technical detail and prioritizing ruthlessly.
  • Strong data analytics instincts and fluency with modern AI tools (Claude, Codex, etc.): our product is built on working with regulatory data, and your fluency with that data and with the product’s output is how you build credibility with customers.

Work Location

We appreciate the flexibility of hybrid work, and we also value the energy that comes from being in the same room. Our team gathers at our office in downtown Toronto up to three times a week when not travelling. If you're able to join us in person on those days, we'd love to hear from you. This role also includes travel to client sites for activations, key milestones, conferences and on-the-ground support.

What is in for you

  • Competitive Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this role in Canada is $110,000 CAD - $160,000 CAD with most new hires joining near the midpoint. Actual salaries may vary within the range, or above or below it, based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and business needs.
  • Equity
  • Comprehensive health benefits from day one, for you and your dependents
  • Time Off: 20 vacation days + 5 flex days around EOY holidays

AI at Senpilot

AI is embedded in how we work, and we encourage our team to lean on it to learn new skills, sharpen their craft, and put their energy toward the work that genuinely moves the needle.

That extends to how we hire. We bring AI into our recruitment process not to take the humanity out of it, but to keep things organized and smooth so the experience feels more personal, not less. It gives our team room to focus on the parts that count: genuine conversations and well thought decisions. Above all, every decision is made by real people, drawing on genuine understanding, and rooted in our values and culture.

Senpilot is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workforce. Accommodations are available upon request during the recruitment process.
