We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead teams, and ensure every project is completed with excellence. What You'll Do:
- Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
- Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
- Coach, train, and motivate team members while reinforcing company standards and best practices.
- Monitor project progress and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Build positive relationships with customers, store leadership, and team members.
- Promote a culture of safety by modeling safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
- Utilize company technology and reporting systems to support daily operations and project execution.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, both in the local pod and the wider region
- Depending on the specific position, a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a Department of Motor Vehicles check may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, and climb a step ladder.
- Lift and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Safely move carts, fixtures, and merchandising equipment as needed.
