Position Details :

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer with strong experience in React Native and a good understanding of Android and iOS platforms. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications, implementing new features, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to web development when required. The role requires good knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, mobile application architecture, APIs, testing, CI/CD, security, and application performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Development :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain mobile applications using React Native, with a strong focus on Android and working knowledge of iOS.

2. Feature Implementation :

- Design and implement new features, integrations, and enhancements across existing and new applications.

3. API Integration :

- Integrate and consume REST APIs and work closely with backend teams to troubleshoot API and integration issues.

4. Troubleshooting :

- Diagnose and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments, including performance, crashes, network, and device-specific issues.

5. Mobile Capabilities :

- Implement and maintain mobile capabilities such as push notifications, deep linking, camera/microphone, Bluetooth, WebSockets/realtime communication, offline storage/synchronization, and app integrations as required.

6. Engineering Standards :

- Follow engineering best practices including unit/integration testing, code reviews, CI/CD, automated builds and releases, crash monitoring, performance monitoring, and secure coding practices.

Requirements :

1. Experience :

- Minimum 2 to 5 years of total experience and a strong track preferably in a fast-paced B2B2C, B2B, or B2C startup or company.

2. Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile application development.

3. Platform Knowledge :

- Good understanding of Android development and familiarity with iOS development, including platform-specific behavior, debugging, build processes, and app lifecycle.

4. Backend Integration :

- Experience with REST APIs, authentication, WebSockets/realtime communication, and basic understanding of backend services and databases.

5. Tooling :

- Experience with unit/integration testing, Git, code reviews, CI/CD, automated mobile builds/releases, and application monitoring tools such as Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics.

6. Security and Performance :

- Basic understanding of mobile application security, secure storage, encryption, TLS/SSL, application performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
