We are seeking a talented a Senior Accountant for our Tax team to:
- Complete and review tax returns and workpapers
- Perform tax research
- Analyze tax notices and draft responses
- Assist in tax planning and preparation of projections
- Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies, and applicable laws
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services
- Assist in managing, developing and coaching professional staff.
- Help develop, build and manage client relationships.
Qualifications
- Client service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong analytical, mathematical and critical thinking abilities
- Shows ambition, drive, and takes initiative for all tasks
- Ability to manage several engagements at a time
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree, accounting preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
- Experience with attestation and accounting services is a plus
