The Opportunity

We're not hiring a sales manager to run a team. We're looking for a builder - someone who has scaled a payments or F&B platform business before, knows what it takes to take something from pilot to market leader, and wants full ownership of the next chapter. You'll carry direct P&L accountability, run your own sales, marketing, and ops org, and hold the mandate to strike merchant partnerships that shift the market.

What You'll Own

• Full P&L ownership for ShopBack Pay in Singapore - the growth, the strategy, and the bottom line are yours to drive.
• The sales, marketing, and operations org - hiring, structure, performance, and execution.
• Merchant and partner relationships - build the deals that make ShopBack Pay the default way people pay.
• Omnichannel growth, working closely with regional stakeholders and local online business heads.
• The team - lead, mentor, and grow the people who'll help you scale this like a founder would.
• ShopBack Pay's edge - stay ahead of industry trends, competitor moves, and market opportunity.
• A seat in shaping ShopBack's broader culture and success story.

Essentials to Succeed

• Proven experience scaling a payments, fintech, or dine-out / F&B business in Singapore - you've built something and grown it, not just managed it.
• A track record of direct P&L ownership, with the numbers to back it up.
• Deep online-to-offline sales leadership experience; a food/retail tech background is a strong plus.
• History of building and leading lean, high-performing sales teams with a fast, iterative mindset.
• A strong network of merchant partners in food and retail, and the instinct to turn relationships into growth.
• AI Builder mindset - you use tools like Claude or Cursor to move faster and build smarter, not just talk about AI.
• Founder-grade ownership - grit, resilience, and the hunger to win even when it's hard.
