Public Relations Associate, Singapore Marketing

We are looking for a Public Relations Associate to join the Shopee Singapore PR team. This is a full-time role suited for candidates who are passionate about corporate communications and eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. The ideal candidate has experience supporting communications or PR projects, with demonstrated success in managing timelines, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and contributing to messaging or content development. This role offers exposure to both proactive brand storytelling and corporate reputation management, with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful campaigns that shape public perception and strengthen trust in Shopee.

Job Description:

• Support the planning and execution of earned-led PR initiatives that drive awareness and strengthen Shopee’s brand reputation in Singapore.
• Draft press materials, messaging documents, internal briefs, and support day-to-day comms needs.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing, business development, partnerships, legal, operations) to align on comms timelines, data points, and approvals.
• Assist in managing media queries and monitoring public sentiment, supporting reputation management efforts with tact and attention to detail.
• Support media monitoring efforts, including coverage tracking, compiling highlights, and contributing to weekly and monthly PR reports.
• Provide project management support by coordinating across key workstreams such as campaign rollouts, media engagement, and internal communications, ensuring timely execution and alignment with comms objectives.
• Uphold Shopee’s comms guidelines and brand standards, acting as a gatekeeper for message consistency across all touchpoints.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• 1 year of relevant experience in a public relations agency or in-house communications team
• Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills, and a sharp eye for tone, clarity, and messaging across formats
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and follow through on tasks
• Proactive and accountable, with a resourceful approach and a strong sense of ownership
