Responsibilities:
- QA strategy: Deciding what gets tested, how, and where automation pays off, across every service.
- Automated suite: Growing E2E and integration coverage until it's a real release gate, not a chore nobody trusts.
- Release quality: Catching regressions before customers do, and driving down escaped defects and MTTR, not just tracking them.
- Highest-stakes surfaces: Partnering with engineering on testability, and leading QA on billing correctness and agent output quality.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in QA or quality engineering, with real test automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, or similar), not just manual testing.
- Solid grasp of testing APIs, data layers, and async or job-based systems.
- Owns quality as an engineer writes code, reasons about systems, and builds tooling. A force multiplier, not a gate.
- Rigour and a bias for catching the failure that matters most.
Nice to have:
- Performance or load testing experience.
- CI pipeline experience with GitHub Actions or similar.
- Experience testing LLM or AI systems, or other non-deterministic outputs.
