• Cost Estimation & Management: Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BoQs), cost estimates, and tender documentation for upcoming civil and construction projects.
• Contract Administration: Manage subcontractor accounts, evaluate progress claims, and administer construction contracts to ensure cost control.
• Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor project expenditures against budgets, conducting variance analysis and preparing monthly financial reports for management.
• Tendering & Procurement: Assist in the evaluation of tenders, negotiate with suppliers and contractors, and procure materials cost-effectively.
• Risk & Dispute Management: Identify potential financial risks on projects and assist in negotiating variations and settling claims.

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Professional registration with Board of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Malawi.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering or construction sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Key Attributes: Highly analytical, meticulous attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
