Senior Document Controller

A Senior Document Controller manages and oversees document processes with prior experience ins industries like mineral & metals, oil & gas, construction or IT engineering, EPC / EPCM environment. The role ensures all documents are accurate, controlled, and accessible.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing document control systems (e.g., Meridian, SharePoint, Aconex)
• Maintaining document registers and workflows
• Ensuring version control and compliance with standards
• Coordinating with project teams, vendors, and clients
• Training junior document controllers
• Auditing documentation for quality and accuracy

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of document management systems (EDMS)
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with ISO standards (like ISO 9001)
• Experience in large-scale projects (construction/engineering preferred)
• Good communication and coordination ability

Typical Experience Required

• 6 to 8 years of experience in document control or related roles
• Experience handling complex, multi-discipline project documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline; engineering or management preferred)
• Certifications in document control or quality management (optional but valuable)
