Position Title: Assistant Tax Manager

You’ll create impact by:

• Tax Compliance & Reporting: Manage, review, and ensure timely completion of monthly and annual tax filings, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT (PPN), and Withholding Taxes (PPh 21, 23, 4(2), 26).
• Tax Audits & Dispute Management: Coordinate responses to tax authority inquiries, manage tax audits, and support dispute resolution processes.
• Team Leadership & Supervision: Oversee, mentor, and review the daily work of tax staff and junior accountants to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Tax Advisory & Optimization: Provide internal tax guidance on business transactions, operational changes, and strategic planning to optimize the company's tax position.
• Regulatory Updates & Risk Management: Monitor changes in Indonesian tax laws (including Coretax implementations) and assess compliance risks across all financial operations.

Your defining qualities:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, Fiscal Administration, or a related finance field from a reputable university.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive working experience in corporate taxation, finance/accounting, or a reputable tax consulting/Big Four firm.
• Certifications: Mandatory Brevet A & B tax certification; holding a Brevet C certification is a strong advantage.
• Technical Expertise: Deep working knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, Transfer Pricing documentation, and proficiency in electronic systems such as Coretax, DJP Online, E-Faktur, and e-Bupot.
• Soft Skills & Leadership: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proven leadership capabilities to supervise a team, and professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
