Siemens is a German technology conglomerate founded in Berlin in 1847 by Werner von Siemens around a telegraph that indicated letters rather than Morse code. After a decade of divestments it now concentrates on industry, infrastructure, transport and healthcare, supplying factory automation and control systems, building and grid technology, trains and signalling, and the Teamcenter and NX design software acquired through a long run of software purchases. The Siemens Xcelerator platform ties hardware to software and digital twins, and the group retains a majority stake in the separately listed medical imaging company Siemens Healthineers.

Here at Siemens, we take pride in enabling sustainable progress through technology. We do this through empowering customers by combining the real and digital worlds. Improving how we live, work, and move today and for the next generation! We know that the only way a business thrive is if our people are thriving. That’s why we always put our people first. Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you?

Transform the everyday with us!

Build a stronger maintenance team and keep essential manufacturing equipment performing reliably. As a Maintenance Supervisor, 2nd Shift, with Siemens Smart Infrastructure’s Electrical Products (EP) business, you’ll lead six maintenance technicians in a hands-on role that combines people development with practical technical problem-solving. You’ll help technicians strengthen their troubleshooting capabilities while supporting a manufacturing environment that includes Trumpf, Franklin, and Dow Mac machines and a paint line. Your leadership will support safe, reliable production and help us deliver electrical infrastructure that empowers customers and advances the energy transition.

This on-site role is based at our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX, working second shift, approximately 2:30 PM-11:30 PM, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and paid overtime as needed.

You will make an impact by:

  • Leading six second-shift maintenance technicians by setting priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and developing maintenance technicians through hands-on guidance and coaching to strengthen troubleshooting skills across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving manufacturing equipment issues alongside technicians to restore operation safely and minimize unplanned downtime across production machinery, conveyors, hoists, and the paint line.
  • Developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, inspections, and checklists to identify equipment issues early and reduce production disruptions and costly repairs.
  • Analyzing equipment performance and recurring maintenance issues to recommend process improvements, repairs, or upgrades that strengthen reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Managing spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure resources are available for planned maintenance and urgent repairs.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with manufacturing operations, engineers, and contractors to complete daily work priorities and minimize disruption to production.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills, including assigning work, providing technical guidance, and training and developing maintenance technicians.
  • A solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining or troubleshooting Trumpf, Franklin, or Dow Mac equipment.
  • Experience with paint line maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Siemens programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and/or Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal.
