Siemens is a German technology conglomerate founded in Berlin in 1847 by Werner von Siemens around a telegraph that indicated letters rather than Morse code. After a decade of divestments it now concentrates on industry, infrastructure, transport and healthcare, supplying factory automation and control systems, building and grid technology, trains and signalling, and the Teamcenter and NX design software acquired through a long run of software purchases. The Siemens Xcelerator platform ties hardware to software and digital twins, and the group retains a majority stake in the separately listed medical imaging company Siemens Healthineers.

Here at Siemens, we take pride in enabling sustainable progress through technology. We do this through empowering customers by combining the real and digital worlds. Improving how we live, work, and move today and for the next generation! We know that the only way a business thrive is if our people are thriving. That is why we always put our people first. Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you.

Transform the everyday with us!

At Siemens, we build what matters. As we launch our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia, we are excited to invite talented professionals to join our growing team. This site will support approximately 1,700 employees and specialize in Busway and Busplug manufacturing, including metal and bar fabrication, powder painting, plating, epoxy, and assembly operations. We believe diverse perspectives, inclusive leadership, and a strong safety culture help us deliver innovative solutions for our customers and communities. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow, lead, and make an impact, we encourage you to apply and be part of our Siemens team.

We are looking for a Quality Management System (QMS) Supervisor to support our new Manufacturing Facility. As part of the facility startup team, you will play a key role in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) required to support operational readiness and long-term manufacturing excellence. You will help build the foundation for a world-class quality culture while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate quality requirements.

You will make an impact by:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to support facility startup and ongoing operations.
  • Establish and maintain quality system documentation including policies, procedures, work instructions, process maps, forms, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and corporate quality policies.
  • Coordinate internal audits, process audits, and external certification audits while ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities to address quality system nonconformances and drive continual improvement.
  • Support quality planning and risk assessment activities associated with facility startup, new equipment installation, and manufacturing process validation.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Operations teams to ensure quality requirements are incorporated into business processes and facility readiness activities.
  • Develop and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and management review processes to assess QMS effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage document control processes, including revision control, approval workflows, retention requirements, and distribution of controlled documents.
  • Support supplier quality qualification and onboarding activities, ensuring quality requirements are appropriately defined and implemented.
  • Coordinate employee training programs related to QMS requirements, quality procedures, and compliance expectations.
  • Participate in ERP system implementation, testing, and validation activities to ensure quality processes and records are properly integrated into operational systems.
  • Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and certification body assessments.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and quality best practices.
  • Supervise and develop Quality personnel as assigned, fostering a culture of accountability, quality ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the transition from facility startup activities into stable production operations, ensuring all quality systems are fully implemented and effective.

You will win us over with the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
