We are looking for Software Developer
You’ll break new ground by:
·Develop and maintain operating system components and middleware applications for Sinumerik industrial control systems, with emphasis on Linux kernel driver modules, middleware such as display compositors, security and networking stacks.
- Design and implement middleware applications/libraries for use in GUI, security using OpenSSL and TPM, Networking applications using standard TCP/IP as well as Raw or custom protocols (ProfiNET).
- Develop or debug Linux Kernel modules for Display, networking and File systems
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:
- Having Bachelor / Master of Engineering degree in CSE / IT / ECE, MCA 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software development of Operating systems and Middleware, networking stacks with good knowledge in C, C++ and Python.
- Experience in designing and implementing Linux OS modifications, drivers using C/C++ language on Linux, Linux OS modifications for Intel or ARM processors , Board support packages, drivers, VFS/FUSE File systems, network stack
- Complete Kernel and supporting packages compilation using buildroot or Yocto
- Debugging Linux kernel and middleware using GDB with JTAG debuggers (Lauterbach, Segger, STM32, OpenOCD)
- Linux application programming - Glibc, Threads, IPC, Socket programming, Fuse, Wayland, Cryptographic (OpenSSL) libraries, GNU make, GDB, Assembly level debugging.
- Basic network experience - Ethernet stack, TCP/IP programming, Debugging using TCPdump, Wireshark
- Experience with standard network protocols - IEEE 802.11, ICMP, ARP, etc, and Python for Automation testing using Squish
- Working knowledge in Software engineering practices, Object Oriented programming, SCA tools, Unit test, TDD with Agile/Scrum environment
