About the Role

The Calibration Technician II is responsible for performing advanced calibration tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires a solid understanding of calibration principles, familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, and the ability to interact with calibration vendors.

In this role, you will maintain accurate Tool Registry records and generate calibration recall reports while gathering Measurement and Test Equipment (MTE) not in use on the production floor for upcoming calibration. You will notify individuals in possession of MTE that requires calibration, stage and prepare MTE for calibration, and contact calibration vendors to obtain quotes, shipping restrictions, and RMAs. Additionally, you will initiate Internal Purchase Requests (IPRs) for calibration services and receive and review all returning calibrated MTE for accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include generating Lost Tool Forms when necessary, creating new identifications for cables, MTE, and standard equipment, and assisting in establishing control methods and documenting future calibration cycles. You will also generate shipping requests for outgoing MTE for calibration, implement 5S, FOD, and ESD awareness practices, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards to maintain quality and operational efficiency.
