About Your New Job

As a Tax Manager in Dublin, you will provide expert Irish tax advice and manage a varied portfolio of clients. You will play a key role in delivering tax compliance and tax advisory services while developing long-term client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
• Providing practical advice on relevant areas of Irish taxation, including corporate tax, personal tax, VAT and international tax where applicable.
• Leading tax planning projects and identifying opportunities to improve clients’ tax positions.
• Reviewing tax computations, tax returns, reports and technical advice to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to clients and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Managing deadlines, budgets and client expectations across multiple assignments.
• Supporting business development activities, including proposals, presentations and identifying opportunities with existing clients.
• Coaching and developing junior tax professionals through delegation, mentoring and technical guidance.
• Working closely with audit, accounting and advisory teams to provide integrated professional services.

What Skills You Need

• A professional tax or accountancy qualification, such as CTA, ACA or ACCA.
• Several years of relevant tax experience within an accountancy practice, professional services firm or in-house tax team.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, tax compliance and tax advisory services.
• Experience managing client portfolios and overseeing multiple tax assignments.
• Excellent communication, organisation and client relationship management skills.
• The ability to explain complex tax matters clearly and provide commercially focused advice.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or developing junior team members.
