Since 2007, Signicat has been steadily growing organically and through strategic acquisitions, which led us to become a pioneering Pan-European Digital Identity Service Provider (DISP). We support 170+ data sources to identify businesses and individuals - from national eIDs, ID-document scanning, and biometric verification to data sources for AML and KYC checks, all accessible through a single integration point.
The Role
As a hands-on Engineering Manager, you will combine .NET programming and engineering leadership with technical product ownership for one of our Platform Services teams. You will be responsible for growing and supporting the team, driving delivery, prioritizing the roadmap and backlog, and balancing new capabilities with reliability, operational excellence, and technical debt.
Your team is one of three Platform Services teams developing and operating critical shared services for Signicat's SaaS platform. Specifically, this team owns the authentication platform that secures Signicat's SaaS offering. Built on OpenID Connect (OIDC), it provides the identity and access management foundation used across our products. Additionally, the team develops and operates a portfolio of platform services that contribute to the security, reliability, and scalability of our SaaS platform, including our secure long-term storage service.
You will work closely with the Senior Engineering Manager for Platform Services, architects, and stakeholders across the organization, ensuring your team delivers secure, scalable, and reliable platform capabilities that create value across the company.

Collaborate closely with architects, engineering teams, and stakeholders across the company to deliver platform capabilities that accelerate product development.
Guide architectural and technical decisions within the team while promoting engineering best practices, observability, automation, and operational excellence.
Help shape the future of our Platform Services group by contributing to engineering strategy, ways of working, and long-term technology direction.

Experience with identity and access management technologies, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or authentication platforms such as IdentityServer is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Salary:
€60,000-€80,000 gross yearly. We are open to discussing the salary based on your skills and competencies.
