An established defence and security organisation based in the Netherlands, delivering systems used in national and allied defence programmes.
Project / Role Overview
This role sits within a software engineering team building and maintaining systems written in C and C++ for defence applications. You'll be based on-site in Enschede, working directly on software used in operational defence environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software in C and C++ for defence systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on system requirements and integration
- Test, debug, and optimise code for reliability and performance in demanding operational environments
- Contribute to technical documentation and design reviews
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years' professional experience in C and C++ software development
- Prior experience working within the defence sector is required
- Based in or willing to relocate to Enschede, Netherlands for an on-site / hybrid role
