  • Performs routine maintenance on all building equipment, from HVAC to production equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the property.
  • Keep machinery in good working order and notify Manufacturing Manager of any repair to be done on any equipment used in the production area
  • Observe safety precautions to prevent fires or explosions.
  • Monitor gauges, recording instruments, flow meters, or products to ensure that specified conditions are maintained.
  • Observe work areas to detect leaks or equipment malfunctions or to monitor operating conditions.
  • Perform daily checks on production scales and forklifts.
  • Development of preventative maintenance program while updating the software daily.
  • Support other areas of the plant designated by Plant Operation manager.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customer, vendors. The information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or by email.

Technical Certificates would be helpful.

Previous experience working in a chemical plant preferred but not required.
