Broad Function and Purpose of Position: 3rd Shift
To perform clerical duties for the shipping department to include data entry, inventory transactions and reporting, cycle count reporting and analysis and maintenance of shipping documents.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Create transfer orders per customers’ requirements.
- Schedule standard and expedited shipments.
- Process material handling requests.
- Monitor and execute FIFO practices.
- Performs additional shipping responsibilities as needed.
- Submit ASN’s for all outbound shipments.
- Manage all shipping paperwork.
- Meet & greet drivers, direct drivers for loading.
- Work with material handling team to ensure orders are pulled.
- Assist in scheduling outbound toller deliveries.
Qualifications/Experience
- High School Diploma
- Two years’ experience in shipping preferred.
- Highly organized.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Detail oriented professional.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision but in a team environment.
