AtSimCorp, wefacilitatethe streamlining of investments, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us.
In the role ofLeadBusiness Consultantspecializing in ABOR (accounting book of records), your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients' projects.
You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your specialexpertisein the ABOR area, and you willbe responsible forall aspects of the project stream. You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectivelymonitor, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Responsibility for major parts ofSimCorpDimension® implementation projects: You know thecustomers‘ requirementsand processes related toAccountingat banks, asset managers and insurers and outline solutions foroptimaluseof SimCorpDimension®
Closecooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success
Gain understanding ofSimcorpOneandutilizethem for project delivery
Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection withSimCorpDimension®
Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job
Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects
Activelyparticipateinknow-howexchange with colleagues on an international level

Previousexperience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners,banksor consulting firms
Excellentknow-howin at least two of the following areas:
Our candidates will have experience in one or more of the following fields:
Asset Management - Back Office - or Financial Reporting
Consulting or ProfessionalServices within the Asset Managementsector
An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software
Asset Management candidates should have5-10 yearsof experience working hands on with the investment and/or fund accounting functions and the enterpriseapplications that enable them
Consultants should have experience with multiple enterpriseimplementations involving ABOR functions on the buy side, and hands on experience with applicationssimilar toDimension
Degree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred
Self-starter with a can-do mindset
Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time
Have Excellent communication skills andproficiencyin English - both oral and written
Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting
Knowledge/experience with accounting for insurance industry is a plus
CPA, CA, or CFA qualification is a plus
Hands-on experience withSimCorpDimension is a plus
Ability to travel to client’s site

For Toronto only:The salary range for this position is $115,040 - $165,40 CAD. Basepay may vary based on factors such as years of experience,skillsand qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, timeoffand Group RRSP/TFSA.
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $133,200 - $199,800 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based onrole, location,departmentand individual performance.
