Accountingis aunitwithinSimCorp’sProduct Division which deliversall rules and calculation methodsin order toprovide our clients with a legally binding subledger for all supported asset classes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Develop andmaintainfeatures inAccountingproduct areas.
Contribute across the entire development lifecycle - from requirements analysis and design to implementation, test automation, documentation, and ongoing support.
Collaborate closely with your team, Product Managers, Architects, and peers across the area to deliver high-quality,secureand valuable solutions.
Innovate, uphold technical excellence and quality, advocate best practices, and continuously improve our ways of working.
Constantly learn and improve yourself, the team, and wider area.
Think beyond the code, understand our strategy,goalsand customerneedsto help enhance our products and maximize their impact.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in -learnthe rest.
4-6years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiencywith .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs) in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
Solid understanding of web application architecture, including RESTful services, microservices / modular monolith patterns, and event-driven systems.
Experience building and operating solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Proficiencyin cloud-native design principles, CI/CD pipelines, observability, resilience, and scalability.
Strong understanding of software engineering practices - API design, secure coding, performanceoptimizationand distributed system design.
Familiarity with data storage technologies (SQL Server, NoSQL, caching strategies).
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) isaplus.
Curiosity and willingness to learn in-house tools and frameworks, including the APL programming language.
Readiness to work in a complex accounting domain, dealing with financial and investment-related instruments.
